Today, drive along the dramatic coastline of Oregon. Take a moment to admire the breathtaking views and stop at Coos Bay and stroll along the white sandy beach or admire the spectacular waterfalls. Arrive in Redwood National Park, home to the world’s oldest redwood groves and the world’s tallest tree. Overnight at Redwood National Park.

Leave Redwood National Park this morning passing ancient Redwood forests and former Russian fishing settlements as you travel through California’s Redwood Coast. Arrive in Eureka and explore the historic waterfront, local shops and restaurants. Overnight in Eureka.

Today, travel south along California’s spectacular coastline to the historic village of Mendocino. Browse the boutiques and galleries, dine on locally caught seafood or stroll past charming saltbox cottages. Today’s journey continues to San Francisco, a city that many consider to be the most beautiful city in America. Spend the next two nights in San Francisco.

Explore San Francisco at your own pace today. Walk along the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, head to Fisherman’s Wharf for some tasty clam chowder and meander your way down Lombard Street.

Today’s drive takes you down the California coast to Monterey. Stroll along Old Fisherman’s Wharf and explore Cannery Row’s historic waterfront district. Continue your journey along one of the most scenic roads, 17 Mile Drive to the charming town of Carmel. Overnight in Carmel.

Follow the Pacific Coast Highway south along the Big Sur Peninsula and marvel at the dramatic coastal bluffs and endless golden beaches. Overnight in the heart of California’s central coast.

Venture along the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Barbara, where palm-lined walkways border white sandy beaches. Then continue down the coast to Malibu, known for its magnificent homes and dramatic scenery. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, stop at Santa Monica and take a photo of the Historic Route
66 sign and walk along the pier. Spend the next two nights in Los Angeles.
