After breakfast enjoy a ride on the Gornergrat cog railway. The train climbs over bridges and through a fragrant forest of fir trees from where you will enjoy spectacular view of the iconic Matterhorn mountain. Chamois or Marmot can be found running freely at the topand if you are feeling energetic there are some gentle walking trails which reward hikers with even more breath-taking views of the surrounding peaks.
