After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Churchill. Your guide will meet you at Churchill Airport and escort you to the Churchill Heritage tour, which takes you to the surrounding areas to explore various historic sites. These include Cape Merry, an outside tour of the polar bear holding facility, the wreckage of the famous plane, 'Miss Piggy', and many other important sites that make Churchill the town it is today.
Today, you depart on a full day Hudson Bay Coastal Tour on the ‘Matonabee’, the only Arctic cruising vessel with underwater viewing windows. You’ll have the opportunity to view the polar bears along the coast of Hudson Bay and other local river estuaries.
Cruise the Churchill River in search of the region's famous beluga whales. This excursion also includes a guided walking tour of the historic Prince of Wales Fort, offering fascinating insights into Churchill's colonial past.
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Churchill's unique attractions. Visit local museums, browse specialty shops, and admire authentic Indigenous artwork.
This morning, experience the Arctic tundra aboard a specially designed Arctic Crawler™ on a three hour Tundra Tour. Discover the unique flora and fauna of the region and keep an eye out for local wildlife. Following lunch at the lodge, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Winnipeg.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer independently to Winnipeg Airport.
