A Huge Thank You to JessicaWe would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jessica for planning our recent trip to New Zealand with our mum. The experience exceeded all our expectations and was everything you promised it would be—and more.From the moment we departed, your attention to detail was evident. Organising wheelchair assistance for Mum at the airports was an absolute blessing and something we would highly recommend for anyone travelling with mobility challenges. It made the journey so much easier and more enjoyable.The itinerary you created was incredibly thoughtful and well suited to our needs. The additional information you provided about nearby food options, facilities, and local attractions at each destination was invaluable and made arriving in unfamiliar places much less stressful.Each accommodation offered a unique experience, from sharing a twin suite to having separate rooms. I think my sister may have regretted sharing a room with Mum by the end of the trip—but that was her choice! I was a little wiser and opted for my own room.Hiring a car was definitely the right decision for us. Having the flexibility to travel at our own pace made a huge difference, although some of the roads were a little daunting at times. For travellers who are not confident drivers, this is something worth considering. Despite that, we were all very grateful not to have relied solely on bus travel throughout the trip.The South Island was simply breathtaking. The scenery was spectacular and created memories we will cherish forever. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't entirely on our side, with a cyclone arriving just before we did and lingering for part of our holiday. Thankfully, we had chosen to spend most of our time in the South Island, as travellers coming from the North seemed to experience much more disruption.This trip was a true bucket-list experience for our elderly mum to share with her two daughters. We cannot thank you enough for all the planning, ideas, recommendations, and the countless conversations leading up to our departure. Your suggestions struck the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.The only small hiccup we encountered was discovering that our first night's accommodation had somehow not been booked before we left Adelaide. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved and did not detract from an otherwise wonderful holiday.For anyone considering travelling to New Zealand with an elderly parent, one piece of feedback we would offer is that mobility assistance options can be somewhat limited in certain locations. We were extremely glad that we organised a disability parking permit before travelling, and we would strongly recommend others do the same. It made a significant difference throughout our trip. While some attractions were simply too physically demanding for Mum to fully participate in, she was always happy to enjoy the scenery and watch us from a comfortable vantage point. In hindsight, perhaps we should have taken this trip a few years earlier while she was a little more active, but we are still incredibly grateful for the memories we made together.Jessica, thank you once again for everything you organised. We would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone considering a trip to New Zealand or wondering whether using a travel agent is worthwhile. To Management I have just returned from my UK tour with Josie Robertson It was a fantastic and stress free holiday all thanks to Josie she made sure everyone was comfortable and all ok. After not being able to travel overseas due to COVID lockdown my wife and I finally had the opportunity to travel back to Mizoram, India to catch up with family. After several positive recommendations we chose Jessica MacLannan from Hello World, Berri to assist us with organising this trip. I cannot praise Jess and her organisation skills enough. Jess treated us like we were her priority at all times. She was patient, professional and thorough. Despite my apprehension regarding travel overseas (I changed our itinerary eight times) Jess always greeted me with a smile which portrayed her confidence. Jess booked our flights and accommodation. As we were visiting family we did not need to book sightseeing tours. The arrangements Jess made for us were perfect. Jess made many suggestions as to how our trip could be made more comfortable by suggesting alternative options. Jess replied to all of my queries promptly and professionally. She organised our Cash Passport which alleviated my stress regarding carrying cash overseas. Jess ensured our entry Visa's were correct, we had our International Covid Vaccination Certificates and that our Passports were valid. Jess kept us informed at all times as to any changes to our itinerary.
